When does the cost of petrol actually kick in? |

Hi, Totally off topic related question. On the weekend I was on my way to a function and doing what I normally do, decided to fill up the car with Petrol. Any way, on the board (The one that shows everyone the current cost) at the time it was displaying $1.12 per / liter. I drove in, waited to get my petrol (line of 3 other cars). When I finally got to the tank, just as I went to reach for the pump, the price changed from $1.12 to $1.39. I went into the service station and the guy informed me that the fact that I waited for as long as I did and the fact that there was the price displayed on the board didn’t make any difference. Can anyone please tell me at what time the petrol price is actually applied? If I am in line, and the whole time it is the lower price, and then when I go to pick up the tank, when does the price kick in? |

lol ive never heard of anything like that happening. I thought they change it every Tuesday but not 100% sure. Also i hear the best day for petrol is a Tuesday because its usually the cheapest not sure if thats a myth or actually true. The price of petrol these days is a joke. I remember when it was 70c per litre. I cannot wait for the day we move away from petrol. I know it wont be any time soon but it will be a good day when it happens. I hear stories of some petrol stations mixing the petrol with water
